Abstract:
In the process of Chinese modernization, high-quality development stands as a strategic priority for the outdoor sports industry. Constructing a theoretical framework that identifies core driving forces, transfomative trends, and implementation approaches for the industrial high-quality development holds significant importance. The analysis identifies five core driving forces: 1) Huge population scale as a driver for industrial transformation and upgrading in outdoor sports production and consumption; 2) common prosperity for all citizens fostering equitable development of the sector; 3) harmony between material and spiritual civilization advancing standardized growth; 4) symbiosis between humanity and nature guiding green development practices; and 5) peaceful development cultivating wider open to the outside world. These forces stimulate five transformative trends: Innovative manufacturing models, new service formats, and emerging digital business ecosystems; industrial restructuring; the practice of social responsibility and the formation of governance frameworks; low-carbon participation; and industrial core competencies and global competitiveness. To achieve high-quality development, the industry must prioritize: innovation in productive forces, collaborative industrial synergies, modernized governance systems, sustainable ecological practices, and global integration.
