Abstract: This paper discusses, by the philosophical and historical perspective, the ancient Greek sports form under the free "faith reason", the sports form in Middle Ages under the concept of "separation of body and soul, " under the concept of "religious reform" in the background of modern sports form, and the modern Olympic game which has a deep religious feeling, and clarifies the path of historical development of "religious sport", illustrates sport which take the game as its essence that the existence of close related with the religion in each period of sports development, and then further clarity to provide theoretical support for the sports nature.
