Abstract: In order to study the cultural symbols of Taijiquan and its structures,through using the methods of literature and logical analysis,based on the theory of Juri Lotman's Cultural Symbols Circle,this paper analyzed the symbolic structure of Taijiquan.The results are as follows: the theory of Lotman's Cultural Symbols Circle is suitable to explain the Taijiquan symbol structure.Taijiquan cultural symbols is the schema-based of body perception,with the characteristics of harmony center,edge of flexible,criterion of boundary,and the formation of a unique symbol space system.The Taijiquan culture hemisphere is uneven,body text is the main carrier of Taiji culture;It's a routine form in external,and including ethical way of thinking inside.Taijiquan cultural symbols include the body potential,ideographic nature,metaphor,and the integrated.The Taijiquan symbol structure determines its development according to back to the body.
