Abstract: Based on investigating 1 000women, through using ANOVA and regression analysis, this paper studies the constraints to women's leisure sports activities and the relationship with behaviors.The result shows that constraints are likely to be reported not only by non-participants in an activity, but also by participants.And constraints may be reported more frequently by the former than the latter.The demographic factors (age, marriage status, income, education) are all found to be related with constraints.Four constraints are associated with participation.However, regression analysis shows that only intrapersonal constraint has significant predictive role on participation.
