Abstract: The Court of Arbitration for Sport is responsible for resolving sports-related disputes, which also include penalty dispute cases of members of the international sports organizations.This paper, employing the method of literature review and logical analysis, introduces and comments specifically three cases occurred in recent years, including the International Olympic Committee Athletes Commission members' election violation cases and the official " bribery" case of International Federation of Football Association, summarizes these practices of Arbitration on the development of Sports Law and that of the theory of Arbitration for Sports.The result suggests that the Court of Arbitration for Sport has jurisdiction to decide the penalty disputes by the International Olympic Committee and the International Sports Federations, which can correct the proceeding flaws of sports organizations internal penalty by the Panel's review and maintain equal rights of the appellants;its evidence rules are especially the common given evidence rules with the respondent providing preponderant evidence, and the admissibility evidence rules of fully reflecting the discretion of the arbitral tribunal;the Court of Arbitration for Sport respects the autonomy of sports organizations, but still has to continue to perform an oversight function to prevent sports organizations from the abuse of power, and timely makes its suggestion to improve regulation of sports organizations in order to promote the objective and justice of arbitration ruling and safeguard the legitimate rights of the parties.
