Abstract: Using methods of social network analysis software, literature consultation, content analysis, and logical analysis, firstly, analyzes status quo of the contemporary traditional sports fieldwork research, with the question and reinterpretation of the problems existing in national traditional sports.The research suggest that the entry of the fieldwork, it makes the contemporary traditional sports some changes:change of discipline attribute, the transition of the research perspective, research writing orientation transformation and the transformation of the time orientation.The occurrence of these changes, is that the involvement of anthropology, although fieldwork has brought unprecedented development to this discipline, the western anthropology as dominant of research mode, is not conducive to its own subject positioning or showing discipline personality, should be combined with native conditions to develop its own research model;in addition, it is worth emphasizing whether the development of national traditional sports can continue to go on, which depends on scholars' insisting, not to make a kind of "academic foam".
