Abstract: The legal protection on the kinds of sports programs in China exist loopholes and defects,mainly focusing on the legal nature of broadcasting sporting events are not clear,copyright ownership and rights content about the kinds of sports program is uncertain,the legal protection on the kinds of sports programs exist grey zone.The legislation needs to follow the characteristics of the new technology for this purpose,sets up the sports events broadcasting rights,and improves the relating right system in the copyright law,establishes a complete legal protection system of the kinds of sports programs,making the kinds of sports programs on the industrial chain of investment of each subjects' interests can be properly protected.
