Abstract: By using the method of literature review and logical analysis, this paper presents the current situation of researches on public sports service performance evaluation, the main purpose is to explore the analysis methods of the public sports service performance evaluation, to grasp the process and the results of the index system construction as well as its empirical analysis and test. The ultimate goal is to generalize the study consensus, to point out the existing problems and to look forward to the future study. The results showed that 1) The study on public sports service performance evaluation is still in its initial stage, and theoretical study is immature. There are shortcomings in the index system construction. The empirical study lacks breadth and depth. 2) The logical order of index system construction process has been formed initially, which is “primary basis — pre-selection based on experience — index selection — index processing — index system construction — proportion determination. 3) The empirical analysis of public sports service performance evaluation is relatively weak. Suggestions:1) The theoretical research should focus on the basic theory, subject evaluation, mechanism evaluation, evaluation methods, evaluation principles and so on. 2) Researchers should pay more attention to the study on the construction process of index system of public sports service performance evaluation. 3) All methods of public sports service performance evaluation have their own advantages and disadvantages. The optimal one based on the reality should be selected. 4) The effective combination of theoretical research and empirical analysis should be strengthened.
