Abstract: Through using the method of literature review, online research and phone interview, this paper makes a large collection of relevant cases and information about the purchase of public sports services by our government, analyzes the theory and practice exploration of core concept, theory, policy and content of government purchasing public sports service, finds out achievements, existing problems, and suggestions for development.Achievements:initially realize the transformation of government functions, basically improve the relevant policies and regulations purchased by the government, gradually meet the diverse sports needs of the masses, fully activate the social sports organizations, and improve resource utilization.Existing problems:policies and regulations are not perfect enough, the content of the purchase has not yet met the real needs of the public, the main regional development is not balanced enough, the purchase process has not yet been established, the purchase category is not clear, the supervision and evaluation mechanism has not yet been established, the fairness of the beneficiary should be considered.Suggestions:mature relevant policies and regulations, achieve democratic choice of purchase content, promote the balanced development of undertaking subjects, strengthen the purchase procedure model construction, complete scientific division of purchase category, establish a sound supervision and evaluation mechan ism, and achieve a fair increase in beneficiaries.
