Abstract: The developed countries entered the aging society earlier than others, therefore they have rich practical experience in construction of social support system of sports service for the elderly. Its successful experience can provide beneficial enlightenment for the development of sports for the elderly in China. By using documentation and logic analysis, this paper analyzes the construction of the social support system of sports service for the elderly in the developed countries with a higher degree of aging such as the United States, Germany, Australia and Japan, and it concludes that the social support systems of sports service for the elderly in different developed countries not only have their own characteristics, but also have many common points. Developed countries attach great importance to the integration of various resources and the construction of social support system for sports services for the elderly, so as to provide services for the elderly in sports. Considering the actual situation, in the process of constructing the social support system of sports service for the elderly in China, we should pay attention to the pluralistic subjects to promote the construction of the sports service system for the elderly and ensure that proper policies and regulations can be followed in the construction of the sports service system for the elderly. At the same time, the community organizations should provide sports services for the elderly, sports instructors and volunteers should provide service for the elderly, sports and medical health departments should work together to build a sports service system for the elderly.
