Abstract: Based on the AMI evaluation model of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Evaluation Studies, this paper constructs an evaluation index system for the development of China's urban health care industry, covering 3 first-level indicators, 13 secondlevel indicators, 36 third-level indicators and 57 fourth-level indicators of urban health care industry attractiveness(A), urban health care industry management capacity(M), and urban health care industry influence(I). Based on qualitative and quantitative evaluation, 137 prefecture-level administrative districts were classified into five “stars”. Finally, from the three aspects of the attractiveness of the health care industry, the management ability of the health care industry and the influence of the health care industry, eight countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for the future development of China's health care industry.
