Abstract: The digital economy plays a crucial role as a driving force in achieving a higher level of equilibrium between supply and demand dynamics in the sports industry, thereby expediting its high-quality development. Employing research methods such as literature analysis and logical reasoning, this study, based on the theoretical framework of the digital economy's impact on the supply and demand dynamics in the sports industry, systematically uncovers the mechanisms through which digital economic innovation contributes to elevating the balance of supply and demand. The study also critically examines the challenges faced in achieving this balance and proposes relief strategies. These strategies include adopting a holistic perspective to promote digital economic development, implementing a comprehensive set of measures to continuously unlock the value and benefits of digital transformation, fortifying efforts in conquering critical core technologies and fostering independent innovation, establishing a robust digital service ecosystem, enhancing the accuracy of data acquisition and the efficiency of data utilization, effectively identifying the demands of sports consumers and conducting consumer profiling, and strengthening the mechanism for cultivating digital talent within the sports industry to ignite innovation and intrinsic motivation among digital technology professionals.
