Abstract: Through using the method of literature review and observation,this paper analyzes the significance to evaluate government performance of sports work,discusses the evaluation guidelines and assessment ideas.Considering the dilemma of "internal assessment" that the way often used,"variant assessment" was put forwarded.The subject selection in assessment of government sports work performance was referred in the new concept,the national people as the core main body of assessment was established.We should establish the assessment committee,build scientific,rational,comprehensive and objective assessment index system and improve sports public service level.
