Abstract: In the current development process, the Chinese stick fighting events has encountered the dual dilemma of technical system disorder and poor value connotation. Therefore, it is urgent to reconstruct its technical system and deeply explore its intrinsic value. Based on the understanding and comprehension of the practical experience and technical theory of fighting, this study systematically sorts out the contents of classics such as “Sword Classics” and “Shaolin Stick Method Explanation”, and extracts the four-in-one training model of “practice, response, set, and comparison”. On the basis of integrating the above mentioned aspects, the three-dimensional reconstruction framework of “goal-principle-content” of the technical system of stick fighting events is further proposed. The achievements of this study will not only help to promote the modernization and innovation of traditional martial arts, but also fully demonstrate and promote the core value concepts of Chinese martial arts such as “skill-based” “unity of practice and fighting” “mutual promotion and restraint” and “faith, integrity, benevolence and courage”. In the process of revival and innovation of traditional Chinese martial arts, the reconstruction of the technical system and reinterpretation of the value of the stick fighting events is a significant reference, and provides theoretical support and practical guidance for its modernization development.
