Abstract: By using the method of oral history, this paper investigates the coding rules of international communication of traditional martial arts, and focuses on the international communication activities of folk successors of traditional martial arts in the past ten years. It is found that“intangible cultural heritage”coding is a new concept of international communication of traditional martial arts, which is in line with China's all-round, multi-level and three-dimensional diplomatic layout in the new era, and enhances the international appeal of Chinese traditional culture. From the perspective of intangible cultural heritage theory and coding, this paper examines the international communication thinking of Chinese traditional martial arts, and defines the“intangible cultural code”of traditional martial arts as“the discrete inheritance and cross-cultural adjustment of traditional martial arts as intangible cultural heritage in the international community”, so as to open up a new path for the international communication of Chinese traditional martial arts in the new era.
