Abstract: Traditional minority national sports is one of the hot issue in the field of academia, the related research has been presented the trends of the multiple points of view, multi-dimensional, more theory support and multidisciplinary cross.Randall Collins reserched the sociological problems from the perspective of microscopic sociology and proposed the interaction ritual chains theory.The author thinks that many problems of traditional minority national sports can be explained by the interaction ritual chains theory from a new angle.The author analyzed the essence of the traditional minority national sports, the motivation, the essence reason of the demise.Through the study, the author thinks that traditional minority national sports is a kind of ritual of physical activity in essence, emotional energy is the ultimate cause of the surviving and the subsidence is the essence reason of traditional minority national sports declining.
