How to Break the Deadlock in the Development of Sports Teams in Campus Football Featured Schools?A Longitudinal Case Study from the Perspective of Neo-Endogenous Development

The high-quality development of sports teams in campus football featured schools is pivotal to the strategic advancement of campus football and the effectiveness of the reserve talent cultivation system. From the perspective of neo-endogenous development, this study adopts a longitudinal single-case design to examine the women's football team at Jinan Licheng No. 2 High School, systematically deconstructing the breakthrough mechanisms and evolutionary patterns that underpin sports team development in campus football featured schools. The findings indicate that the breakthrough development of sports teams follows a progressive neo-endogenous development path, characterized by exogenous foundation-laying, endogenous activation and endogenous-exogenous symbiosis. This process manifests a coupled operational logic, with resource orchestration as the processual carrier and legitimacy-distinctiveness synergy as the value-based representation. Throughout the development process, the tiered deepening of the regional collaborative cultivation system alleviates the resource constraints faced by individual schools and yields steady progression in the efficacy of systematic reserve talent cultivation. In response, this study proposes the following strategies: Based on the patterns observed in the exogenous foundation-laying stage, establishing collaborative frameworks with local authorities for talent aggregation and foundational training; focusing on the core tenets of the endogenous activation stage, deepening integration to consolidate the training system and enhance comprehensive support; adhering to the logic of the endogenous-exogenous symbiosis stage, expanding the ecosystem to build a closed loop of competition empowerment and talent output.
