Political Idea of Ancient Chinese and Western Sports

This paper tries to use some concept taken from a theory of justice to analyze ancient Chinese and western sports through using the method of literature review, induction, deduction, comparison, and logical analysis.The result showed that politic and sports were not the same as they are today which totally belong to two domains.The main difference between Chinese and western political idea through the original form of ancient sports can also be concluded.The former is a representation of equality of opportunity and quasi-pure procedural justice, the latter shows a model of natural aristocracy.Although the equality has become the common idea of modern society, sports indicate that equality can also be exceeded, rather than an end not of social development.
