Research on Current Situation of Eight Races Mass Sports in Xinjiang

Through using the method of literature review,questionnaire and interview,this paper analyzed the status quo and problems of the mass sports activity of the Uygour,Han,Kazak,Mongolian,Kirks,Xibe,Tajik,Hui eight races of Xinjiang.The result shows that the mass sports activity of the Mongolian,Tajik and Mongolian is very good among the eight races.The function of the traditional sports events haven't well developed in the developmental process of mass sports and should be treated to further excavation.The sports infrastructure is serious shortage and doesn't utilize well.The people who organize the sports activities and the sports contents are shortage.It proposed that the government should enhance the governmental function and strengthen publicity,strengthen the organization of the mass sports,and build up all-direction sports network,gradually transfer the developmental direction of the mass sports from the city to village and arouse the development of city by the development of the village,explore a developmental new path with a multi-racial feature of mass sports and construct a new mode with the high living quality of multi-racial residents.
