Qualitative Research Method and Its Application in School Physical Education

Qualitative research begins with social science assumptions or worldviews.It involves an interpretive,naturalistic approach to study things in their natural settings.This paper presents the qualitative research method from the levels of concepts or characteristics,theoretical foundations,types or design strategies,and data collection and analysis,trustworthiness,and ethics.Subsequently,this paper also presents the applications of qualitative research method in school physical education on its effects,limitations,and current situations.Finally,the paper puts forward the implications for school physical education research in China.
