Research on Long-term Effective Linkage Mechanism between Sports Industry and Tourism Industry

The linkage between sports industry and tourism industry has gone beyond the direct form of sports tourism.Based on the analytical methods of industrial value chain,this paper analyzed the features of sports industry and tourism industry,and then,summed up the linkage material foundation between two industries in four levels,such as experience needs,resources sharing,relevance complementarities,and extension of industrial value chain.According to the linkage material foundation,a long-term effective linkage mechanism between sports industry and tourism industry is proposed,which is composed of four key factors including need-market,resource-brand,relevance-creation,and industrial chain-project.In this mechanism,the government should build up pushing mechanism in order to improve facilities,make spatial plans,offer policies,as well as optimize administrative management.The firms should build up operating mechanism in order to create brands,make innovations in products,reinforce cooperation and competition,and share knowledge.As to governments,they should pull interaction between two mechanisms,and move along with the paths such as market exploring,brand leading,creativity improving,and project driving,so as to provide exhaustive power for the linkage between two industries.
