Abstract
The purpose of this study is to make analysis on sports expenditure and mass participation frequency in sports in central region of China and role of sociodemographic variables and economic variables in mass participation frequency in sports and sports consumption,and all the variables on mass sports participation and consumption.Method:Through using the method of literature review,mathematical statistics and questionnaire,this paper makes analysis on factors of mass participation in sports activity and sports expenditure.The result shows that different gender,age,education background,income,occupation,family type have influence on sports participation frequency and consumption.The research result can provide theoretical support for mass sports development and sports industry strategy in China.
