Relationship of Field Work in the Research Paradigm of Sport Anthropology

With a notion that we should separate the cultural environment in which the observer and the observed locate being the guidance of the research,we are trying to analyze the objective of field work,the research place and the approach to collect information by using the method of both literature review and logical analysis.The result shows that 1) while,from the big picture,the anthropology has experienced a process from the foreign to the indigenous,the anthropology of sport in China was at first focusing on the remedy to the remaining problem of traditional ethnic sports;2) the researcher should keep the tension of the research object.The research perspective for the "swingman" should be objective and complete;3) we need to combine the "scene" and the "document" during the collection of filed information,and also we should identify them to make confirmation;4) the objective statement of the filed information is the foundation of illustration.
