Abstract
Objective:To observe the effects of different filters on estimating accurate the force of digitorium flexors.Methods:18 healthy subjects were involved in the study when the digitorium flexors performed all kinds of contractions which generated the force expressed as the percent of maximal voluntary contraction(%MVC).After sampling the force and sEMG,the sEMG of digitorium flexors were processed by different methods including increasing high pass cutoff frequencies(20~480 Hz in steps of 20 Hz,24 in total) with first and sixth order filters,as well as low pass filtering with cutoff frequencies(1.0~4.0 Hz in steps of 0.1 Hz,31 in total) to produce a linear envelop. Results:The data indicated it was effective to remove 90%~95% of raw sEMG signal power to improve substantially the based-EMG force of digitorium flexors. Conclusion:It seems that a smaller high band of frequencies may be related with the force of digitorium flexors estimates, and in the present study, from a view of the digitorium flexors, the method supports the previous authors.
