    Influence of Urban Sprawl on Adolescent Physical Activity—A Review on Analysis Geographic Information Indicators

    • There have many aspects in environmental changes that negative for adolescent physical activity in urban sprawl,so we need to understand its internal rules and mechanism that can proposes the science and reasonable intervention methods.The key of this study field development in-depth of lies in data quantitative analysis,and the difficulty of quantitative analysis is environmental indicators quantification.This article in respect to present study main on qualitative investigation,also geographic information system(GIS) quantitative indicators is not comprehensive enough,that analyzed the suitable geographic information indicators in detail.This paper point out that 1) urban sprawl affect youth physical activity mainly concentrated on the density,land use,urban expansion shape,road layout,walkability,accessibility and landscape pattern these geographic characteristics;2) the existing studies between built environmental and adolescent physical activity has been involved in most types of geographic characteristics;3) indicators selection priority refer to multiple indicators comprehensive measurement,each types of sprawl characteristics uniform distribution,primary and secondary correspondent to different types of physical activity,and flexible application different research purposes and so on.
