Effect of Chronic Incremental Exercise on Thymus Proteome Expression in Rats

    • Objective:This study tried to observe the change of thymus proteome expression during six-week incremental exercise.Methods:12SD rats were randomly divided into Control(n =6)and Exercise(n=6)group.Thymus Samples were taken after six-week incremental exercise.Proteome expression in thymus was analyzed by 2-DE and MS;and the proteins were identified by data retrieved from the protein databank. Results:There are 12proteins expressed with significant difference.Among them,3proteins(Actin-like,Annexin-1,TPM31)were upregulated, and 9down-regulated(PKCSH,TUBB5,TPM4,PP1G,RBBP7,SEPHS1,PGK1,LDHB).Conclusions:Chronic incremental exercise can cause the proteomic change of rat’s thymus with significant difference. The expressive difference of 12proteins should link to differentiation, development, growth and apoptosis in thymocytes.
