Study on Properties of Chinese Professional Football League

By using the method of literature review and logical analysis, this paper analyzes the properties of Chinese Professional Football League based on the angle of economics and comparation, and from two aspects of theory and practice.The author points out that the Professional Football League matches belongs to quasi-personal products that feature joint consumption, some external characteristics, fierce competitiveness and exclusiveness.At present, there are no technical problems in the exclusiveness of the Chinese Professional Football League matches, but there are some exclusive and uneconomic features.The competitiveness has yet to be discovered, but the external features have appeared.The current status of the CSL matches are related to the particular progressing stage as well as the positioning of it as a public product by the Football Management Center, which prefers administrative management mode.Generally speaking, the Chinese Professional Football League has not been up to standards and has a long way to go to become a mature professional league.We do not have a clear understanding of the Chinese Professional Football League in China.Further discussion and a clear-cut definition of the professional football will promote a uniform understanding of it among the Chinese football professionals and are crucial to deepen the professional football reform.
