The Space Autocorrelation Characteristics of Chinese Sports Development

Selecting the 7¹1 games total medals of 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government) as analysis sample, using spatial econometric model, this paper makes empirical study on space autocorrelation characteristic of regional competitive sports development in China.The results show that 1) space dependence degree of regional sports development increased gradually, the influence by neighboring region is more and more big, the regional competitive sports development have the positive spatial autocorrelation relationship, but the effect of spatial agglomeration and polarization is obvious;2) the development level of China's competitive sports has been greatly ascension in recent 20 years, the spatital autocorrelation function is increasing in East, middle and West, the area of spatial dependence is further clear;3) there is not significant geographical agglomeration relationship in most areas of current national sports development, spatial linkage effect between regional sports development remains to be further enhance.According to the research results, this paper puts forward some suggestions and enlightenment, in order to indicate the direction for the followup researches.
