Abstract
This paper examines the resource antecedents and moderating effect of market orientation from the perspective of Resource-Based View.Based on a questionnaire survey of 236 sports enterprises, the research results show that 1) Resource uniqueness, synergy and dynamism all have significant positive effect on sports organizational innovativeness, the resource antecedents are resource dynamism, synergy and uniqueness in terms of importance weight.2) Market orientation significantly moderates the impact of resource synergy and dynamism upon sports organizational innovativeness, but it has no significantly moderating effect on the relationship between resource uniqueness and organizational innovativeness.This research provides and empirically tests a resource driving model, it contributes relevant managerial implications for Chinese sports enterprises to improve organizational innovativeness through cultivating and accumulating strategic resources and capabilities.
