    A Review of Concurrent Training of Strength and Endurance and Strategies to Optimize Performance for Athletes

    • Concurrent training of strength and endurance is a hot topic of training for athletes in the world.It is also very important for coaches, especially in the case of fitness events, to avoid to the‘interference phenomenon'during concurrent training.This review is focus on the research history and strategies of concurrent training for athletes to optimize performance.The majority of these studies found that‘block periodization', ≤3training frequency, ≤30min for endurance, at least 8hours between endurance and strength training is the best way to decrease ‘interference phenomenon'in concurrent training.
