The Estimation of Sports Public Service Efficiency in China and Empirical Study on Influencing Factors

By using DEA, the paper evaluate the sports public service efficiency from 2008to 2011respectively in China, and analyze the factors that influence the efficiency scores using Tobit model.Looking from the DEA efficiency score, the average efficiency of sports public service continue to improve in our country, and the efficiency differences between regions has reduced year by year;Sports public service efficiency level is relatively high stable in the eastern developed areas, and the western region is better than that of the central region.Looking from the influencing factors, both regional economic development level and the accessibility of sports public service resources have a positive impact on the sports public service efficiency, so we should pay special attention to construct the national fitness "trilateral project", promote the process of mixing sport into Life, improve the accessibility of sports public service resources;There is a negative correlation between sports public service investment scale and public service efficiency, which may be related to lack of regulation leading to waste and low use efficiency, also may be related to imbalance sports fund proportion distribution between sports and national Fitness, so we should strengthen the supervision and adjust the allocation of funds.
