Research on Period Division of the Sport Academic History in Modern China

This paper, taking the sport academic history in modern China as the main research object, using methods of literature review, content analysis and logical analysis, discusses the time interval of sports history in modern China.Combined with the period division of sports history in modern China, this study discusses the division stage of sport academic history in modern China, which is divided into two stages:from 1890 to 1912of sports academic in the late Qing Dynasty and from 1912 to 1949of sports academic in the Republic of China.The latter is divided into four periods:the initial foundation period of sport academic of the Republic of China (1912—1919) , the creation and occidentalize period of sport academic theory system (1919—1927) , the construction period of sports academic theory system (1927to 1937) and the maturity period of sport academic theory system (1937—1949) .
