Abstract
The history of the research on physical exercise on adolescents' cognitive function and academic performance can be traced back to 1950 s.Influenced by the theory and research methods in cognitive neuroscience,a series of remarkable research findings were published.However,further studies are still needed in a lot of critical scientific issues,including the influencing mechanism and dose-response relationship among physical exercise,cognitive function and academic performance.
