Rethinking of Sport Sociology Theory:Pierre Bourdieu and Sport Sociology

In this paper,the relationship between Bourdieu and sport sociology was discussed in order to restore the schema of Bourdieu's sport sociological study.Bourdieu,tightly together with theory of sports sociology study,explored the historical and social conditions of sports development,concerned about analysis of development and consumer behavior of sports,and tried to study the spatial characteristics inherent in sport.This paper focused on Bourdieu's concept of the problem and a few of his sociological research support,such as habitus,capital and field.French researchers inherited sports academic subject proposed by Bourdieu,and its sociological theory was applied in sports sociology study.They used his sociological theory and put forward the concept for sports social science research system.Therefore,Bourdieu school of sports sociology study is not proposed by himself,but is refined and spreaded by French sports sociologist with his similar views.
