Study on the Distribution of Sports Intangible Cultural Heritage in China Based on GIS

By using the method of GIS spatial analysis,this paper analyzes the 529 sports intangible culture heritage projects that have been already included in national and provincal list.The result shows that the spatial distribution of Chinese sprots intangible cultural heritage is uneven,with the characteristics of cluster form.The main distribution area is in the Yellow River,Yangtze River,and minority region.Chinese sports intangible cultural heritage resources forms one Beijing Tianjin and Heibei as the core area of the high density core area,with one Zhejiang as the core area of the secondary core circle and four small inner circle(Guizhou,Jilin,Xinjiang and Qinghai as the core area).The main factors influencing the spatial distribution of Chinese sports intangible cultural heritage have ecological environment types,classification and reporting system.Among them,the objective existence of the ecological environment determines the quantity,type and style of sports intangible cultural heritage,reporting and classification system of sports intangiblecultural heritage are the main subjective factors influencing spatial distribution.It suggests that we should improve the sports intangible cultural heritage declaration and recognition system,change the form and function of sports intangible cultural heritage project and supply high quality field investigation suggestions.
