Fundamental Theories on China’s Sports Law Modification

After two-decade implementation of the Sports Law of the People's Republic of China,we should face the reality,stick to the principle of rule of law and change the nature of the Sports Law from being an administrative law to a law focusing on rights protection.Firstly the Sports Law should define the targets and responsibilities of the authorities.Secondly,the Sports Law should modify the General Principles and the sports administrative enforcement of the law and adjust the structure of the Specific Provisions,standardize legal concepts of mass sports,school sports and competitive sports and define the legal status of sports organizations.Thirdly,the sports industry should be stipulated and legal responsibilities should be improved in the Sports Law.
