Research on Chinese Sports Development Strategy in the Context of Demographic Transition

There are three human productive activities,namely material production,spiritual production,and population reproduction.Among them,population reproduction is the premise to maintain the other two kinds of productions.Besides,population reproduction can also be inspected from two dimensions of quantity and structure,the former mainly reflects the overall size of population,and the latter mainly reflects the social characteristics and the developing trends of population.If the quantity is the result,the structure is the reason that decides the level of population reproduction.In this sense,the investigation of population structure is not only a starting point for a country to make its economic and social policies,but also an important reference factor to formulate sports development strategy.Based on this,we systematically analyzed the changing trend of China's population structure and its influence on sports development strategy from the aspects of age,gender,family,stratum,urban and rural structure.
