Research on the Spatial Effect and Beta Differentiation of Sports Expenditure in China

    • Because of the differences in economic development, social level and geographic location, the allocation of sports resources in China still exist imbalance, such as the allocation of resources mainly in the eastern regions and urban areas.Based on this basic reality, this paper empirically studied the spatial effect of sports expenditure in China. The result shows that there are obvious advantages in the eastern coastal areas and the central region in China, but the regional advantages are weakened by the regional population and GDP scale. Some provinces and cities in China has significant spatial autocorrelation, such as high and high, low and low,low and high, high and low.The sports expenditure of various provinces and cities is significantly positive correlated with the GDP scale and the urbanization rate, and impacted by the random error term in neighboring provinces. At present, the sports expenditure growth rate in China has a divergent effect, which was negative correlated with the increase of sports expenditure in neighboring provinces.
