The Empirical Study of Phenomenological Theory in Football—Taking the Relation between National （Regional） Economic Strength and Sport Performance as Example

Objective:During the period of deeply reform on football in China,it is necessary to explore football development law,and analyze its relationship with the external macro environment,agood reference can be provided for Chinses football development strategy and policy.Method:In this paper,in the perspective of phenomenological thinking,through the rank correlation analysis for the 170 FIFA members in 1993-2014 economic and football scores for data mining,to reveal the macroscopic relationship between the country's or region's economic strength andthe football results.Results:Academic level of GDP,per capita GDP(PPP)and football scores partial correlation coefficient,respectively0.510(P<0.01)、0.476(P<0.01);in different rank of the cluster of population GDP,per capita GDP(PPP)and football scores correlation coefficient is that,levels of pocket 0.321(P>0.05)、0.010(P>0.05),super small magnitude 0.601(P<0.01)、0.574(P<0.01),small magnitude 0.592(P<0.01)、0.572(P<0.01),intermediate 0.657(P <0.01)、0.667(P <0.01),large magnitude 0.656(P <0.01)、0.800(P<0.01);in different continent GDP,per capita GDP(PPP)with football results correlation coefficient respectively that Africa 0.709(P<0.01)、0.168(P>0.05),In North America and the Caribbean 0.518(P<0.01)、-0.104(P>0.05),South America0.733(P<0.05)、0.681(P<0.05),Asian 0.606(P<0.01)、0.507(P<0.01),Europe0.866(P<0.01)、0.217(P>0.05).Conclusion:The national whole and the national average economic indexes have certain reference value when using the national economic base measure the nations football competitive level;As the population level of ascension,the national average economic index reference value increase,but in overall national population below level millions more with national average economic level and football scores had no significant relationship;Comparison in the different continents,the overall national economic level index has certain reference value,but the national economic level and average intensity of football competitions relationship differentiation phenomenon.
