Stem Cell Transplantation Application in Injured Tendon Treatment

Tendon injuries are common injuries in athletics and daily life,including tendinopathy caused by overusing and partial tear or complete rupture of tendon caused by high load,which often recur and are difficult to cure.As a focus area in sports medicine,regenerative medicine and clinical medicine's research,stem cells plays an important role in promoting the repair of the damage of the body.This review summarizes the current situation of tendon injuries in sports,pointing out the development of research on Stem cells and the applications in regenerative medicine and sports medicine.On this basis,cell therapy based on stem cell was prospected to enhance the cure and repairment of tendon injuries.
