History of Sport Health Policy in Developed Countries and Revelation for the Healthy China

Abstract
With Healthy China raising as the national strategy, this paper mainly analyzes the development history and characteristics of sports and health policies in Japan, the United States, Germany, and other developed countries (Finland, Denmark, and Australia) . The purpose is to provide reference for the optimization of China's sports health policy. The results show the following three history stages of development and evolution and characteristics of sports and health policies in Japan, the United States, Germany, and other developed countries in the 1950 s and 1960 s, the 1970 s and the 21 st century:focusing on public health taking into consideration the situation multi-dimensionally, multi-levelly and multi-dimensionally;using the method of evidence-based medicine to strengthen policy formulation, guaranteeing the legal status of sports health policy through legislation. The revelation for the Healthy China are that:government should shift focus of sport development, and increase public investment in sports;government and other departments involving in health, sports and urban construction departments cooperate to develop and implement sport and health policies;from the view of the evidence-based medicine, establish guidelines for sport health management and systems based on different regions, different people and different age groups;develop public physical activity and health guidelines, and add “increasing physical activity” as part of a medical service system.
