American Built Environment Promote Public Health and Revelation for the Health of China

Under the background of healthy of China rising as a national strategy, this paper research on the theory and practice of smart growth guide the built environment in promoting public health and the revelation to healthy of China. To explore the smart growth and the historical origin of public health in the United States, as well as the principles, mechanisms, effects and characteristics of the smart growth guide the built environment in promoting public health, and compare the differences of building environment promote public health between “health citizen 2020: health promotion goal and Health China 2030 plan in overall objectives, core content and strategic task. Propose four enlightenment, they are drawing on the smart growth in the United States to enrich the development idea of health of China; recognition the prospective promote public health of the built environment, rise it as part of the health of China; the smart growth theory as guidance, overall planning of the built environment, find a new path to full realization health of China; build a health of China social network system based on built environment. The main purpose is to provide revelation for the comprehensive realization of health of China.
