Abstract
What is the core competitiveness of athletic sports? This study concluded following findings. Firstly, it requires a cultural atmosphere in the whole society which contributes to sports and formation of positive life style among the children and youths. Secondly, a large number of successive reserved talents, prominent sports events and rising athlete stars. Thirdly, a systematical, scientific and reasonable arrangement of competition system and training schemes, which are appropriate for adolescent's physical and psychological education. Fourthly, a group of sensible and wise root-leveled trainers who are not eager to success and focus on basic qualification training. Lastly, a group of advanced physical therapists work as back up and the training mode from established guiders with international perspective. After optimizing, innovating and improving above major factors for decades, the Zhejiang phenomenon in the sports of swimming in China emerges, also known as the mechanism of China swimming from Zhejiang.
