    Analysis on the Hotspot and Content of Exercise Therapy for the Treatment of Sarcopenia in Foreign Countries—Based on Visualization Research of Scientific Knowledge Map

    • To analyze the hotspot of exercise therapy for the treatment of sarcopenia. This study is based on academic literature between 2007-2016, which are retrieved from Web of Science. The author uses the software of Citespace III to make visual analysis for 692 literatures.There has been a steady growth in the publications, countries with most publications include American, Japan, Canada;research institutions are mainly composed of universities in Europe and America;authors forms a major cooperative team but with no obvious cross regional and institutional cooperation;the research focus on resistance exercise, aerobic exercise and exercise combined with nutrition supplement, which is pay close attention to resistance exercise;research hotspot is mainly concentrated on blood flow restriction, progressive resistance training, water exercise therapy, nordic walking, exercise combined with protein and creatine supplement. Prevention and rehabilitation of sarcopenia has attracted more and more attention, research hotspot reveals the main exercise for the treatment of sarcopenia, blood flow restriction has a great advantage and potential in reducing muscle wasting.
