The Social Environmental and Historical Geographical Reasons that Plum Flower Boxing is the First One to be Justified as Yi He Boxing

On the basis of the study of a large number of historical documents, and combined with field investigation, I think that the name of the Yi He Boxing has appeared at latest in the uprising of Clear Water Denomination led by Wang Lun and Lin Zhe in emperor Qian Long 39 years of the Qing dynasty (AD 1774) , it is not the late Qing Dynasty of the Yi he boxing (group) movement to has just this name. The reason why Plum Flower Boxing is renamed Yi He Boxing is that it is affected by the name of “Yi He market”, “Yi He village” and “Yi He manor” in the region of Shou Zhang county and absorbs the meaning of “loyalty and harmony”. The Plum Flower Boxing called Yi He Boxing is secretly active in the border area of Shan Dong and He Nan province which lies in Yang Gu, Tai Qian and Fan county.
