The Path of Rule of Law of National Sports Association Reform in China

    • Since the reform of China's competitive sports management system started in the 1980 s, the isomorphic model of national sports governing body and national sports association has been established, which have historical rationality and limitations. In the context of socialized management of public affairs and reform of delegating more powers, improving regulation and optimizing services, the reform of national sports association system chooses the path of rule of law inevitably. This requires that the rights of the national sports association must be clearly from the legal authorization and the transfer of the rights of members. As an independent civil subject, the sports association must decouple from the national sports governing body, and establish contractual cooperative relationship with the sports administration. To clarify the rights and obligations of the national sports association by improving relevant laws and regulations and independently formulating articles of sports association. To strengthen the autonomy of the national sports association by improving the construction of committee members, strengthening the construction of members, establishing supervision institutions and improving the governance rules.
