Abstract
Major accreditation is the core task of the 13 th Five-Year Plan for the development of national education. To carry out physical education major accreditation is conducive to docking international standards, promoting the internationalization of physical education major, establishing national standards, building a multi-level quality assurance system, forming dynamic monitoring to help universities rationally allocate professional resources, strengthening endogenous power to improve the quality of professional talent training. There are some problems in the physical education major accreditation in China at present, including path dependence obstacles possibly caused by institutional of major construction institution from emphasizing“access”to“output”,the lack of initiative in some colleges and universities, the failure of characteristics of physical education in accreditation standards,the lack of professionalism and independence of accreditation institutions, and the difficulty in unifying the personality and characteristics of accreditation requirements. In the future, we should strengthen the construction of relevant institution of physical education major accreditation, form a“common + individuality”accreditation mode of physical education major, establish a special third-party accreditation institution of physical education major, and give full play to the function of the results of the of physical education accreditation, at the same time, all universities should make all-round reform according to the requirements to pass the major accreditation.
