Seventy Years of Physical Education Curriculum Reform in Primary and Secondary Schools in China——Concurrently Discuss the Influence of Artificial Intelligence on Physical Education

    • Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, Physical education curriculum reform in primary and secondary schools in China can be divided into four stages: The complete satisfaction of the national will and social needs(1949—1977); the improvement of laws and regulations and the germination of new ideas(1978—1998); the overall reconstruction and transformation from the concept to practice(1999—2016); the reform of curriculum and teaching driven by artificial intelligence(2017—future).Since 2017, relevant policies and regulations have started to fully deploy and promote AI and educational modernization. The school physical education will stand on the new starting point in the comprehensive deepening curriculum reform journey. The interdisciplinary integration is the internal motivation, and the level of technological development is the external motivation. These internal and external factors constitute the core concern in the embryonic stage. The influence and promotion of artificial intelligence on physical education curriculum and teaching will focus on four aspects: promoting education equity; implementing the concept of curriculum reform; changing the mode of teacher education; transforming research paradigm in an all-round way.
