    A Study of Chinese School Physical Education from the Development and Implementation of Extracurricular Activities of School Sports Department of Japan

    • This article reviews the development process of school extracurricular sports activities in Japan, and recognizes the role and significance of school extracurricular sports activities in promoting the establishment of Japan's sports in the new era, the realization of lifelong sports and the development of school sports. On the above basis, this article makes a survey and comparative analysis of the extracurricular activities of school sports department in Japan, combined with the actual situation in China, and points out the actual value of the extracurricular activities of school sports department in Japan and the different problems faced by China and Japan. At last, this article points out that the development of school physical education in China needs the further support of relevant policies. In order to maintain the consistency and continuity of the policies, it needs the cooperation of schools, families,society and groups, and ultimately it is linked with lifelong physical education, national fitness and national interests.
