Research Dilemma and Historical Transcendence of the History of Physical Education Thoughts in Ancient China

In view of the multiple values of the thought of physical education in ancient China, by means of literature review, logical analysis and historical testimony, the paper reviews the history of physical education thoughts in ancient China. The research indicates that it has become a possibility to test, sort out and explore the history of physical education thoughts in ancient China under the influence of the academic turn of the research on the history of world thoughts, however, there are many theoretical and operational dilemmas in the research process. Starting from the analysis and breakthrough of the dilemma, the paper puts forward the assumption of constructing and expanding the problem domain, exploring the ancient and modern connection and context of“thought”, expanding the scope of research texts, transforming the thinking of knowledge generalization, and introducing multiple theories and methods as the main concerns,and hopes to provide some reference for promoting the theoretical consciousness and the independent construction of research paradigm in the research of the history of physical education thoughts in ancient China
